Friday, Jan. 21 at 2:35 p.m.

This week, we are celebrating the Hawk Mindset with a virtual assembly this Friday, Jan. 21. Throughout the year, we pause to recognize how well our students demonstrate our Hawk Mindset of Safety, Respect, Responsibility and Leadership. The assembly Friday focuses on another aspect of mindset - the growth mindset.

There is a lot of research pointing to the power of a growth mindset verses a fixed mindset in the educational setting. At Stillwater, we like to celebrate and recognize the importance of hard work and perseverance.

Via Live Stream, we are bringing in performers from NED’s Mindset Mission, an organization dedicated to promoting the power of “Yet”, encouraging others and always doing one’s best.

Each Stillwater student will receive a free yo-yo along with the powerful story about a boy named NED who learns the value of perseverance and hard work.

For those who can’t make it on Friday, please contact the office for the Zoom link.
